Outdoor Education and School Gardens

A NESA registered course to engage students with outdoor learning and the school’s gardens

Outdoor Education and School Gardens is one-day NESA registered professional learning program that will provide teachers with the knowledge and practical skills to create, maintain and use school gardens in a curriculum relevant way. The course provides practical activities to help teachers incorporate outdoor learning into the curriculum including:

  • No dig gardening
  • Composting
  • Native gardens
  • Citizen Science
  • Permaculture
  • Insect hotels
  • Plant propagation
  • Bush tucker
  • Nature play
  • Curriculum links

Cost: $195.00 incl GST (includes morning tea, lunch and resources)
